Hey guys,

I’m 21 years old and I’m playing poker for years (I can’t even remember when I started playing).
Currently I’m playing 18man sng-s and … HU cg and sometimes 6-max cg, MTT-s, MTT sngs, so actually everything you can imagine. This is something I should change and focus on one thing but I’ll never do that, I know myself.

I just started playing HU and I really do enjoy it. It’s exciting. The only problem is that I never learnt anything about this game. I think I’m gonna post a lot of hands, because sometimes I don’t know what’s going on at the tables.
I’m also planning to post some hands from sng-s and I’ll regularly update my results in this topic.

Hey and welcome! Yeah you should deff. make up your mind and choose a type of game which you wish to master. Nobody ( or at least most people :p) can be good at everything. Poker, and even Texas Hold'em in general is like very hard to master. Narrowing down the stuff what u have to know by choosing only one subcategory in Hold'em would just make your life easier. :)



I’m also planning to post some hands from sng-s and I’ll regularly update my results in this topic.


Also you can definetly bring the SNG hands over in the SNG subforums. Would be glad to try and help.

Just follow the way of Phil Ivey...:D I'd say the biggest all-round player in the world of poker!

I think it's OK to play various types of poker. Grindin' SnG's can be a little boring:) (sry for sng players, it's also true for cg or mtt)
But u should decide which will be your no1 game! Like u love playing HU cg...than u play HUcg for 4 days/week, and u can schedule a day for mtts, and a day for sngs. Like this grinding can be diverse, but you can develop in your favorite game:)

Actually I have to agree with both opinions about game types. I just had to realize though that I'm not someone who can play sngs 300days a year. I need to play something else sometimes to keep my focus and motivation. But I'm planning to do a challenge this month, so check back when I manage to find out the details ;)

First Challenge

I was thinking about where to post it, but since it's my topic, I'm gonna post it here. I also was thinking about whether it should be a really hard challenge or an easier one at the first time. I chose a medium one, which is hard for me though.

My goal will be to make $3k profit from today till 31.March.

The games I'm gonna play:
* $6.5 18mans on stars.
* $6.5 and $12 90mans on FTP.

I'm gonna post graphs from sharkscope here daily (or every 2 days).

Btw, I think it's gonna be hard for me, because I'll have to play a lot of sng-s to complete this challenge. Check back if you're interested.

GL! But I think challenges are better, if u don't focusing on the profit, but the volume, like u wanna play 4K SnG this month. You can't influence your run, but you can manage your persistency:)

Wow man. That seems like an uber hard challenge. My yearly profit goal is $5k clean profit. So respect for the high expectations. What kind of volume are you planning to put in for the month? I really hope u'll manage.

Had a really-really frustrating session on FTP, especially because I was already kinda tilted when started the session (because Arsenal lost the match against Barca). I have a pain in my hands. Not good...maybe next time I won't try to fight against the wall.

OMG, this challenge will be harder than I thought. Today I came home from Budapest, and I got drunk with my father. Played exactly 0 sng....and some HU cg where I was lucky enough to win a buy in. lol.

I think it would be a good idea to calculate that with your current (or even 1-2% below ur current) ROI how many SNGs should you play daily in order to reach your goal at the end of the month. This would help you to build up a nice little schedule and then keep your daily volume to it.
