Pre-Flop: ($15, 5 players) Hero is UTG :4h: :4d:
Hero raises to $25, 2 folds, SL2007 calls $20, 1 fold

Flop: :4c: :qd: :4s: ($60, 2 players)
SL2007 checks, Hero bets $40, SL2007 raises to $120, Hero calls $80

Turn: :3d: ($300, 2 players)
SL2007 bets $180, Hero calls $180

River: :ks: ($660, 2 players)
SL2007 checks, Hero ($599)?

SL2007 is some kind of a regular player. How much do you bet on the river?

I would raise halfpot to get called by anyQ or if he's LAG 88+ but these hands will almost always 3bet u pre expect if he wanna trap you, but I dont really like the flop and turn play...I think 4bet on the flop or minraise on the turn is good option.

Do you think bet all-in on the river would be a bad play?

1st of all: NH:)
Second: I would 3bet OTF, it seems kinda bluffy (some pro said that 3bet OTF from the pre raiser is almost always a bluff:D).
3bet to 280-300$ than shove the turn. It's so strong that it's QQ+, 44, AQ or bluff, i think that if u had a LAG image he'll pay u off with a wide range (QJ, KQ, AQ, maybe 88+).

If u play bet-call, call line I would bet smallish or really big OTR, like 200$ or AI, depends on his assumed range (if more likely that he's got some kind of mid PP (77-TT), or a weak Q (Q8-QT) than 200$, If he's got a stronger Q, maybe K than I bet big...or if we had some kind of history I would use that also)

I don't have a clue about shorthanded cash, but i can imagine at that level you guys c/r a fair ammount of flops which makes floating c/r somewhat common so once he checks river he gives up or bluffcatches (i don't see him having a c/r range there) so jam it? Or this "double floating c/r, lol, standard" is just a wild imagination of mine? :D

I don't think that's std, unless the opponent is a big fan of CRs (like 20%+)

Interesting concept, thank you for sharing it. Next time I should try it.

Anyway, I bet $250 on the river and he folded.
