What would you do if you would hit the jackpot?

Aright so you won a big tour and suddenly you have 200.000$ on ur account.

In your country poker is not supported - you cant pay taxes on ur money won and stuff. How would you spend the money / Where would you put it in so that the government would stay ok with you and you could still be happy? In a bank? On a private account? Under your pillow?

This question was bugging me for a while so why not ask it?

Just pay the taxes the same day it is deposited in your bank account - Then you won't have to worry about it!!

$200.000 -35% for Feds - 5% for State (Illinois) - Leaves you $120.000 to have worry free fun with!!!

I wonder how that would look like. I mean you go into the tax office like "Hey I just won a big tournament and would like to give ya 70k$ for the taxes. Kay thanx bye!" lol. Pretty sick. But yeah I think the price paid merits the feeling of 120.000 clean bucks tearing your wallet apart.

LOLing at taxation:D i would definitely open a savings accunt, im kinda precautious when it comes to money. that way i couldn't use it as a bankroll and wouldn't be able to blow it in like 1 day.:)

Being self employed now I have to make tax payments every 2 weeks - You just get use to it - I just tell the bank how much the tax witholding is and they do all the paper work for me and make the payments to the IRS!!!
