Villain: 44/21/11 (75 hand)
VPIP call vs raiser in CO/BTN: 42
AF%: 36, 53, 25
Fold to Cbet: F: 40%, T: 50%

PF, and the flop play is pretty std I guess. On the turn I use the range merging ("valuebluff", sometimes it'll be a bluff, sometimes a valuebet, 'cos the villain's range can't set in correctly).
I thought that he may fold a weak jack, because the K could hit my range. On a blank river I would bet big also.
OTF I guess he can have an FD, Jx, 8x, 9x, 7x, 2 overcard. OTT he could hit a KQ, KT, K9 type hand, maybe he picked up additional outs with QT.
Ithink that he would fold the FD here, but I'm not sure. So he's range OTT can be something like this: 9sxs, Kx, Jx, 89, T8, 97, T7, QT, and some FDs
So his range crush my hands pretty much, but I think that on a blank river he would fold weaker jacks, and the 3rd, 4th pairs. On an ace he may fold some Kings, and I think all 1 pair type jacks. A few times he'll herocall me with Jx, but also with the stronger 8s, and 99, maybe with A7. So we won't rly make profit with the river bet, but maybe we can make him to fold a Jx, and if he called with an FD, str8draw we make profit OTT with our turn and river bet

If I check OTT I 100% give up my hand, he'll bet most of his range (bet vs missed cb IP OTT 100% (1) )
Any thoughts? What should I do? Just give up? Or turn my hand into bluff is ok?

i think its ok to give up on river without any specific read or history.

You have showdown value, try to check down the hand. You will not get a fold from a stronger hand from the turn on. You'll get out cheaper in the long run if you try to check it down.

check/fold turn
check/fold river

Yeah, I'm absolutely positive that I can't make him fold Jx for a turn bet, so I prepared for a river barrell, but it might not work neither way.
But I guess it's unnecessary, and cause high variance. I usually give up. But in theory this play is massive -EV? Or at higher levels could it be working?
