Why did you call on the turn if you don't wanna call the river? I think this card did not really change the board at all...
Due to his high agression I would call on river if it was played in this way.

Interesting. Looking forward w2ps answer, but I'd call river as well. It's definitely not an easy decision I think, but he can have some busted FD-s with lower pairs as well imo...and it can make this call profitable. Dunno.Sigh

it depends on many things. how he plays in 3bet pots, what he thinks about your play, is he capable of valubetting thinly or running 3-streets bluffs? did u call him light before otr? what about his 3rd barreling habits? do he plays tricky or straightforward? after 300 hand you certainly have an image bout him and vica versa. showdown hands are more important than stats. i think without these facts its very difficult to find out the right move. there are villains this is an instacall against and others who always show the nuts here up.

If he's good (and u wrote it in the other thread), He won't valuebet too thin unless u made some herocalls against him. So It's a very strong K (AK, KQ), 2pair (KT, 45), flush, set (22, 44, 55, TT, KK), or a bluff imho. Ur repping a mid K (K8-KJ) or a good T (AhTx, QhTx, JhTx), or a cdraw (QhJx, QxJh, Jh9x, AhJx, AhQx, AxQh, AxJh, Qh9x) maybe. You can't have much here, so if he thinks that u can fold a K it's a pretty profitable bluff for him. But the river is such a brick, so I dunno that he would 3barrell 'cos he put u more likely on a cdraw, T+xh, or give up, because u play those kind of hands more aggressive, and your range is most likely Kx, and he thinks that u won't fold that.

I think it's a call, because the K8 is almost the top of your range. You'll fold in this situation 70% of times, so he can barrell the hell out of you, because it's huge +EV for him. I will say that without knowing the tendencies of the 2 of u, the flow of the match, and so on.

Yes, I decided on turn I will call any turn if it wasn't heart.
I called and villain shoved Ad5d.

I like the way you played the hand postflop.

If you look at this hand from villain's perspective, you should only bet the turn if you plan betting the river as well, therefore I think I would have called as well.
