i think there are better ways to play against a maniac than playing in his own style.he wont call u down with many worst hand but if he really is a maniac he wont fold any piece of board. yeah its true that if he holds some one-pair type hand or an op<qq then u are a slightly favourite(55% v 45%)if he doesnt have a higher fd than yours.
