Villain is a solid reg, 14% ROI over a nice sample size and with a nice av. stake. I dare to assume that his 4betting range there is QQ+ and im not even sure in AK.

Full Tilt Poker $20 + $2 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t20/t40 Blinds - 9 players

UTG: t1485 37.12 BBs
UTG+1: t1695 42.38 BBs
UTG+2: t1635 40.88 BBs
MP1: t1425 35.62 BBs
MP2: t1425 35.62 BBs
Hero (CO): t1440 36 BBs
BTN: t1455 36.38 BBs
SB: t1635 40.88 BBs
BB: t1305 32.62 BBs

Pre Flop: (t60) Hero is CO with :qd: :qs:
1 fold, UTG+1 calls t40, 2 folds, MP2 raises to t160, Hero raises to t400, 4 folds, MP2 raises to t1425 all in, Hero ?

Do we call it?
Pi :)

Wins Ties Equity
31.68% 2.49% 34.17% ( QQ )
63.34% 2.49% 65.83% ( QQ+ AK(50) ) I put AK 50% of the time because you're not sure. Btw, if you assume him to 4bet this range you might as well call his preflop raise, because your 3bet will knock out his weaker hands... and QQ plays very good postflop.

Oh and I'd fold, it's kinda boarderline according to odds, but taking ICM effekts, I think it's a fold.

You have the pot odds to call. And I simply can't believe that his 4betting range is so tight with just 30bbs.

Thanks for the replies!

Yeah ur point there is absolutely valid. If I know he wont ever call my 3bet and he wont go crazy with his 4bets then calling is the most reasonable. We can even add the chance that the limper (fish) will come along too if i just call his raise which is cool. At that time I just felt that calling with Queens is weird.
Oh and what would you do with Kings in the hand btw?

Well yeah, after I 3bet there I can't really get away from the hand imo. Only if I'm REALLY 100% sure that he has only AA KK always. About his 4bet range - well good regulars know that other regulars 3bet really tight too so they don't tend to go spewy with their 4bets. (This thing only goes for the early stages of SNGS ofc) And about the BB thing - well 30 BBs are quite a lot since you usually work with 20-5 BBs in most parts of an SNG. I don't think that any good reg does a 4bet vs. me with say AQs or TT-JJ.

Thanks for the replies again,
Pi :)

With kings you can almost always get it in profitably so I'd 3bet kings here... The only problem is when he's adjusting.... Then we should include some 3bet/folding holdings as well, but holy shit, I do not really think it's a problem if we do not balance our range here.
