Being out of position in no limit holdem presents some tough decisions. A blocking bet is a small bet made by an out-of-position player with the intention of preventing an opponent in position from making a problematic bet when checked to.
I have to tell you, that I am not a big fun of blocking bets. I usually bet small when I try to induce a bluff.
I am really interested in your opinion on this matter.

i hate to make a blocking bet. it usually means to me that i dunno where i stand in the game. blockbets could be awful againts an aggro villain cause he could raise when sensing weakness. but blockbet have two benefit: we play a wide range in our opponents eyes, and it could work as thin valuebet and bluff as well(and we just shouldnt know what kind of bet it is in a certain spot!). but its big disadvantage could be the betsizing tell vs an observant villain.
