Hi all,

the first event of the 2011 season of Formula 1 has just ended with the victory of S. Vettel, to my great pleasure :D

I was a big fan of F1 in the times of Schumacher and Häkkinen, but hated it during Alonso and Hamilton - the two ruined it for me, I can't stand either of them. They basically made me turn against my fav team McLaren and lean towards the "arch enemy" Ferrari. Today, I support smaller stables because I think they provide more variety and action than the rivalry of the "big" ones.

So, what's your say on the sport?

My personal favorite is Alonso. Don't really understand why they ruined F1. When Schumacher won every race, was that interesting?

No it wasn't - at least not in this sense :) But there were variance in all the other positions, and I didn't say I liked Schumacher himself either ;) But the two gentlemen I mentioned are arrogant and childish. I do not question their skill and proficiency, but their behaviour at McLaren was plain disgusting

I didn't see the last gp, but Petrov 3rd place is just amazing. I hope it will be a very tight season.

yeah maybe he shouldn't have returned to racing... these guys seem to start playing golf or poker after they've retired. we would have enjoyed the latter one better i guess:D

I am not a big fun of the Formula 1, actually I liked it more when Mike Hakkinen ruled the tracks. I was a big fun of him. :)

Still, Schumie HAS already starred in a lame-ish movie anyway, not Disney though
