I like a smaller bet on the river. The river card is not perfect, but I think we have to bet against 2pair, maybe Kx.

btw, if he was like a... 15/10 player, would you fold the set, when the straight draw hits?

i have never foded any of them, I think you were right in both cases. many worst hands can call you, even if the villain plays 15/10.
